We generate 99% of our electricity via an on-site 4.9kWh solar system and are not connected to any electrical company.

On the rare event that we have 2+ days of consistent cloudiness we do have a generator backup to top off the system.

Our water comes from a rain catchment system and is the softest water you will find. Locals have been drinking rain water forever but we do provide 5 gallon jugs of professionally purified water for consumption.

We compost appropriate matter and have installed hi-efficiency bio-digesters from a local Belizean company.

We ask that guests be conscious of electrical and water usage but you will likely not even realize you are off-grid otherwise.

Eco-Conscious

Constructed from Belizean hardwoods the self-catering studio cabana has been designed to blend into the environment, for ultimate serene tranquility.

The cabana runs off of clean solar energy, uses a rain water collection system and are equipped with on-demand water heaters. This lovely studio is fully furnished. The kitchens are equipped with everything needed to enjoy your vacation exactly how you’d like; dishes, utensils, cookware, French press, blender, and even specialty ice trays for the perfect Caribbean cocktail.

The cabana has a queen size bed with luxury linens and bedding. Enjoy the full bathroom with hot and cold running water and additional amenities should you forget any of your comforts at home. The dining table and chairs for two and an outdoor seating/hammock area on the deck, afford you options when deciding on your preferred view during meals. Large screened windows on all sides, and multi-speed ceiling fans help maximize the natural ocean breezes to keep things cool.

"this beach is so beautiful! Very peaceful. I had a mini detox yoga retreat for myself and loved every minute of it.

Don’t be afraid to go in the rainy season, the sound of rain on the tin roof is soothing. Also even when it rains the sun comes out shortly after. Personally I LOVED the rain!

This is a MAGICAL spot. Well worth the round trip boat ride from town through the mangroves. I don’t usually go back places but I will go back here."
